The Gap closes in

It wasn’t the FrontPage pic of three damsels with their T-shirt One-Liner going-- I want Freddie’s Babies or a Barrymoore in bikini that brought out the glow in my sleepy eyes, rather it was the column about the Guys loosing to Girls in the Art of Copying during the exams. To be called a Guru in this Art isn’t something that can be boasted about, yet it brings about a smile in the performers heart. The creativity involved here is immense like any other craft. Practiced to perfection, improvised over generations and equipped to handle any situation, it seems the boys are loosing their brilliance in this wizardry.

The article describes the cutting edge techniques practiced by boys to assert their predominance in this art; however the modus operandi of the so-called weaker sex has not been transpired in writing. The article reveals about girls electing to wear Salwar into the halls rather than the skimpy apparels which one sees them on, to spice up the heat during these “hot” summer days, and also about a dedicated woman invigilators in place in each room to check the girls. TIMES has failed to come out with the dark secrets of the mystifying and sophisticated techniques used by gals. This forces the male patrons to fancy the reasons of this down fall to

1) State of Art techniques developed to suit the female anatomy.
2) The ever-growing followers of this art among girls
3) Lack of dedication from the part of boys and many more …

This news has brought tears rolling from all guys (including me) who have efficiently performed and cleverly mastered this class act and remained supreme during their reign. This is Unacceptable!!!

March 12 2006

This day would always be cherished by one and all who are passionate about sports.

I had three things on my schedule that day .

The India V/s England Test ( Played at Mohali Day 4) , The New Season Grand Prix , and the Austrailia V/s SA series showdown.

India v/s England

India had a good outing at Mohali, with Kumble helping India to bag 5 English wickets by the end of the day , throwing a door wide open for Indian Victory. This was eventually possible by some nerve-racking deliveries by Munaf Patel ( is this a Baruch Express in Making ) the debutant and the ever reliable WALL leading from the front.

Bahrain Grand Prix

Alonso had Schumacher on his toes after lap 39. This happened although the multiple time champ had the pole , Alonso eventually crossing the chequered flag with 2 sec lead over the veteran champ. Ofcourse the highlight, Kimi Raikonnen having a podium finish though he happened to be the last one on the poles. Will luck run out for him in 2006 ?? The baffling question is yet to be answered.THe hot favorites finish at the podium giving a splendid start 06 Grand Prix season.

SA v/s Aus (The showdown )

But that day eventually belonged to Gibbs the SA one down batsman who just ran through Aussie bowlers shattering new world record of 434 runs in 50 overs which was set up a few hours earlier.

It is same man who was told "Boy, you have lost the oppurtunity to hold the World Cup " By the then Aussie Captain S. Waugh, when he dropped Waughs catch, (actually can you call that a drop, I woudnt not say that) in what can be called a quarter final match of 2003 World Cup.
The real fear came when NTINI came into bat with 2 runs to win, Last wicket and 2 balls remaining. The way he, the man who rarely holds the bat properly took that single saved SA being tagged yet again the " UNLUCKY " ones.

There was indeed a message to Ricky Ponting and co
" Welcome to the Real World "
.

Futbol Mundial

Ofcourse the day didn't end there. This just happened while I was surfing through the TV channels . Hey I am talking about Arsenal beating Liverpool , the score lise reading 2-1 the only disappointmen of the day . Oh ! The reason being I do not support Arsenal .

The Neighbourhood

This image has gone a bit shaky , but somehow it has captured my mind and I just plugged it in.

They say things dont happen as a matter of chance, and they hold a lot of significance in your life. Now I have started believing it too.
